This is how this story goes. It was not the first time I received a call on my desk, someone asking about converting their Document File format like TXT, DOCX, XLSX, and PPT into PDF format.
Most of the time, I just ignore it and give them a simple suggestion like going to the internet to find a website that can convert file format into PDF. and there are lots of websites which can do this job perfectly. One day I received a call and a person asking me to convert the DOCX file format into PDF file format because the Company on the other side asking for PDF format due to a change in the font and visual style of DOCX file format when that file moves from person to person via email. As usual, I gave my quick suggestion, the Internet. But the person on the call told me that this document is too sensitive and private and they can't upload it over any random Internet websites for converting into PDF format or they can't even show it to other departments, but they need to convert it into PDF format as soon as possible as they are about to open some Tender.

What you need to do is whatever document you want to convert into PDF format just open it in your Microsoft Office Suite or Software and select SAVE AS. After that a small window Prompt will appear you can choose the File name whatever you want, below this you will find SAVE AS TYPE, here when you drop it down you will find PDF listed in it, select it and save the Document in PDF Format. That's it. So Simple.
A Caution For YOU - Be Vigilant Online
It will be quite frustrating in the case of Tendering and other high-level and time-intensive work. You can't waste your time setting up the fonts and arranging the paragraph of the document. So PDF is preferable in this type of communication because after converting the documents into PDF format, the visual order, fonts and paragraph will be present in the same order at any person's computer, it will not get disturbed.
Sometimes it is not possible to upload your document over the internet for just conversion. Some documents are so confidential and you don't know how the website will handle your private document on its server, whether it will delete it after conversion or not. Maybe they Save a Copy of it and, later, use it for bad purposes. Never upload any file over an internet website that contains your Personal Information and Sensitive Information for just conversion to other formats. Be Vigilant with your Documents.
